If you’re not on board with Meaningful Use, now is the time. On April 27, 2016, The Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) issued a Press Release,

Administration takes first step to implement legislation modernizing how Medicare pays physicians for quality, publishing that the initial step has been made to update legislation (MACRA Proposed Rule: Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015) to incentivize providers from the quality of patient care that they provide versus penalizing providers who do not meet a global set of broad measures which are often outside of a clinician’s scope of practice.

The new legislation outlined in the CMS Press Release describes the transformation of Meaningful Use (MU) and other reporting programs such as Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) . The myriad of reporting programs will be streamlined into a single framework model positioned to reward Eligible Professionals (EPs) utilizing Certified EHR Technology (CEHRT), such as RXNT|EHR.

If you are ready to realize the workflow and financial benefits from adopting a healthcare software solution or you are thinking of switching from your existing solution to another, we can help you. Whether you are still utilizing paper or if you have already started with an electronic system, our solutions –  RXNT|eRx, RXNT|EHR, RXNT|PM – can all be used as one integrated solution, or as stand alone applications.
